9th Street Plantings - Thanks!

nov-cleanup6.jpg

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our monthly clean up this past Saturday. We finished our plantings along 9th street. We planted grasses in the treeboxes between N & P streets along 9th. These cleaned up boxes look really nice and truly help make the sidewalks look better.

This event was made possible by Shaw Main Streets with the great support of the Green Team. Big thanks to Alex, Brent, and Ethan for making this happen.

wish i could have been there! looks good. hope the cleanups continue through the winter (we can probably use them since the city will stop sweeping the streets). and it's a good excuse to get your hands on hot chocolate.

ML:

Thanks for organizing again TreeVod! Me and the Mrs. very much enjoyed ourselves and the therapeutic wonders of treebox-renewal.

DCDude:
