Join us Saturday, November 17th for the Shaw Monthly Clean Up. This is our fourth installment as we continue our clean ups and tree planting. This event will be in support of Shaw Main Streets and treebox plantings between the 1300 and 1400 block of 9th street. This will finish our plantings we started in September!

Here are the details:

Meet up at 9th and O streets (outside of Azi's)

Don't forget. For the people who's third time this will be there is a free prize!

Tell your friend and neighbors as we hope to have a big crowd to finish off the treeboxes and celebrate the continued improvements along Shaw's main business corridor.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our monthly clean up this past Saturday. We finished our plantings along 9th street. We planted grasses in the treeboxes between N & P streets along 9th. These cleaned up boxes look really nice and truly help make the sidewalks look better.

The next clean up is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th. We will start at 10 AM and work for two hours till Noon. We'll focus on getting as much trash as possible and maybe do some competitive picking - most trash bags, most vodka bottles, etc...

I'm looking to do something in eastern half of Shaw as we haven't gotten over there yet. I've created this Google map of the area of interest. Please add your thoughts to the comments about where we should work.
